About

My name is Connor Lohmiller and I am currently the assistant producer and beat reporter for @WVUNews. Along with being a member of the video production teams for @Appalachia100. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, I decided to follow in the same footsteps as Coach Bob Huggins and relocate from the great city of Cincinnati, to Morgantown, West Virginia, where I attend West Virginia University. Here at WVU, I major in Journalism, with a minor in Sports Communication and plan to graduate this May 2021.

Living in Cincinnati, it’s hard to believe how passionate I continue to be about sports after many years of disappointment, but that will always be where my heart is. Being that I have never witnessed a playoff win in my 21 years of living, I somehow continue to find love for both the Cincinnati Bengals and Redlegs. I have been lucky enough since junior year of high school to consider myself a journalist and plan to make a career out of it, so I never has to depart from my roots or the sideline.

I have had the opportunity to experience different types of strands in journalism and have obtained many skills in all types of programs such as (Adobe/Headliner/Word/Excel) and many more. Hands on experience is an understatement as I have been producing and making videos since my junior year of high school. Now, working in an actual studio/booth, it has opened a whole new door for what I am capable of accomplishing.
